We wrapped up the year on a powerful and inspiring note with our Ladies’ Conference, held under the theme “A Vessel of Honor.” The event brought together women from universities and diverse professional backgrounds, united by a shared desire to grow, lead, and live lives of purpose and fulfillment.

The conference was designed to create a safe and empowering platform where women could be equipped to excel academically, develop strong leadership values, and embrace holistic well-being. Through meaningful conversations and shared experiences, participants were encouraged to see themselves as vessels of honor capable of making lasting impact in their communities and beyond.
We were honored to host Madam Fiona Kalemba, Clerk of Parliament, as the Guest of Honor. She commended Angathe for organizing an initiative that prioritizes women’s empowerment and mentorship. In her address, she urged the ladies to walk in integrity, remain humble, stay determined, and intentionally prepare for the future they desire.
“Success does not just show up; it is a process. We must prepare for it,”
— Madam Fiona Kalemba
Our Executive Director, Ms. Rebecca Hami, expressed gratitude to all who participated and reaffirmed Angathe’s commitment to empowering women. She shared her excitement for the year ahead, noting that more impactful conferences and empowerment initiatives are planned.

“Thank you for being part of our story. We look forward to creating even more meaningful moments together in the new year. Wishing you all a fulfilling and successful year ahead,”
— Rebecca Hami
